Disclaimer:

This site is my own and no one else is responsible for anything I put up here. Do not blame any organizations or institutions that I may or may not be a part of for including me. Use the comment options or contact forms or send me an email if you find anything distasteful, illegal or incorrect. I’ll be the first to admit it when I’m wrong (if that ever happens.)

Frequently I will quote from books and poems and song lyrics, usually without giving the author the full credit he or she deserves. For that I apologize in advance. Just let me know where I have erred and I will make amends. There are other sources who by their nature must remain anonymous so I’m sure they understand if I don’t thank them.

My apologies to the Boston Red Sox for being an avid fan and unashamedly supporting them even when they are doomed. You gave me the best moments of my life and for that I will ever be grateful. Four days in October… Here is the link to the ESPN 30 by 30 movie about that fateful series.

Purpose

This blog is primarily dedicated to preserving my observations, thoughts, musings, studies and intellectual pursuits (plus some Red Sox baseball). Also, it’s a place where I can keep my daily/weekly/monthly journal and from time to time review interesting books and movies. There will be information and articles related to my activities involving my school (Quincy College) and a recovery center (also not sure if I can name it here but if you visit my facebook page you can probably figure these things out).

If anyone is interested I will try to make my newsletters available to download on their own page as well as a donations page to help fund this project and my education. Thank you for being patient while I learn.

Update: I am including pages/projects for the softball team and other groups that I am in. So look for New Way Softball, Back on My Feet running team and the Addiction Awareness Club pages as they become available.

“My teachings are easy to understand
and easy to put into practice.
Yet your intellect will never grasp them,
and if you try to practice them, you’ll fail.

My teachings are older than the world.
How can you grasp their meaning?

If you want to know me,
Look inside your heart.”
― Lao Tzu, Tao Te Ching
